Puglia is Italy's southernmost province, known as the "heel of the boot" because of its location between the Adriatic and the Ionian Seas.

To get to the region, fly into one of the two international airports in Bari or Brindisi: Karol Wojtyla Airport or the Airport of Salento. Beaches that make you want to jump for joy!

Traveling to Puglia via public transportation is possible; you just need to do some study and planning ahead of time. Some of the bigger cities along the coast, such as Bari, Monopoli, Ostuni, and Lecce, are well-served by train, while smaller ones are served by bus routes.

While swimming inside the Grotta Sfondata, you'll be able to make use of both the sun and the shade provided by the hole in the rock.

Because of the overhanging cliff, the only way to get to this spot is via boat or ship. Simply park in the neighboring Baia del Mulino d'Acqua and walk to the charming Santo Stefano beach to see this hidden gem. Grotta Sfondata is accessible either by swimming or boat from here.

The bay, among other things, is still unspoiled and far far from the summer madness of packed beaches. This hidden corner deserves to be explored.

Known as "the Painter's Palette Cave" because of the vibrant hues on the walls! La Tavolozza del Pittore Everyone's fave. Sea caves abound along the whole Gargano peninsula's coastline. The visit to the sea caverns was an unforgettable experience.

You can't name or remember all of the caves you visited because there were so many, but some stood out, such as the small "arches" formed by natural arches on the beaches. Natural beauty at its finest.

Beautiful sights and informative facts abound as you make your way around the caves. As seen from the sea, Vieste is the closest settlement. “Pizzomunno” is the name of the rock on the left.
